Overall Comments on A Night at the Movies

@dwtsdreams: Overall, I loved the concept and theme of this night. It was great to see the pros’ choreography come to life in movie form.

@dwtsdreams: I have to say I am a little surprised with the final stars left but yet again, am I? Rashad, Normani, and Simone were bound to be here, but I am so confused with Bonner and David. Compared to the talent of Heather and even Nancy, these two stars are fighting for their life. Julia reminds me that it isn't all about dancing, and I guess she is right. Bonner is apparently appealing to America (I don't see how), and David had a large fan base.

@TheBentleyNinja: I’m not surprised that David made it to Week 8, but I would be a little bit surprised if he made it to the finals. He is a likeable person and all, but I don’t think he has quite enough momentum to get to the final 3. Bonner making it to the final five, on the other hand, may seem like a shock at first, but when you really think about it, is it really all that surprising that the people who were eliminated before him didn’t make it as far as he did? In my opinion, not really. And besides, people like a good underdog story, including me sometimes, which is why I really wanted to see Tommy Chong in the finals in season 19!

@TheBentleyNinja: I said this already on Twitter, but Erin calling Peta a MILF kind of made me cringe. I’m sure she meant it in a nice way, but that word always kind of bothered me. Especially because it was said on a family show. . . and we all know what the letters stand for. . .

@TheBentleyNinja: Also, Lindsay’s mishap in rehearsals with David trended a whole lot more than I thought it would. XD

MVP (Most Valuable Pro) Picks

@TheBentleyNinja: So, for the past to weeks, I’ve chosen a Chmerkovskiy brother as my MVP pick, but I do have to say that Val Chmerkovskiy is my pick once again. His Argentine Tango with Normani was one of my favorite dances of the season. We haven’t a true, pure Argentine Tango on this show in a long time (and when we do see them, they are pretty rare), and since the Argentine Tango is one of my favorite dance styles, their performance filled that hole in my heart that wanted something exactly like what they did on Monday!

@dwtsdreams: My MVP this week is Val Chmerkovskiy. He has continued to bring it each week and push his creative mind set.

@juliadelbel: I enjoyed how Peta Murgatroyd made her performance with Nick seem cinematic and weaved a cool storyline into it. It was a great dance for them to go out on!

Elimination Predictions

@TheBentleyNinja: I’m still sticking to the idea that Simone, Rashad, and Normani are going to all make the finals, so if that is correct, all who are left are David and Bonner. And between the two of them, I strongly believe that Bonner will be out next week. But if it is neither he nor David out next week, I will be shocked.

@dwtsdreams : Bonner or David will leave next week.

@juliadelbel: I’m going with Bonner but wouldn’t be too surprised if it’s David. With the lead the others have on those two I’d be shocked if it was anyone else. Also I disagree with Bentley that Simone is making the finals because next week seems designed to screw her over.
