The Stakes Have Been Raised! Season 25 Pre-Season Predictions...with a TWIST!

One last post before the premiere!

After weeks of pre-season speculation and hype, we are now at the moment of truth: it's time for Bentley, Dreams, and Julia to create a bootlist predicting where each of the 13 couples in Season 25 will place...but this time, the stakes are higher than ever.

Last season we started our Fantasy Draft game, and now we've become even more competitive. Not only are we doing a second Fantasy Draft, we are also holding ANOTHER competition. The challenge? Have your bootlist be the closest to the way the season plays out in reality.

For this game, the LEAST amount of points (I guess we'll call them "strikes" since they're negative) wins. For each elimination, the number of strikes a player gets will be determined by how close they had the eliminated couple to their actual placement. For example, last season we all had Chris out first so none of us got any strikes for him. However, Charo was the next to go in 11th place and Bentley had her in 10th, so he got one strike for her as he was one place off. Here's how the rest of Season 24 would have gone:

Bentley My pre-season bootlist predictions this season have changed so much. One minute, I think Terrell is going to making to the Semifinals, and in the next minute, I think he is going to be eliminated within the first few weeks. I’ve said this before, but because there aren’t the typical “types” on this season like there usually are, my predictions were particularly difficult to formulate. But I am confident in thinking that Jordan, Nikki, and Victoria will all make it to the finals. I’ve gone back and forth with Drew, but ultimately, I think he’s going to be this season’s dark horse. With all said and then, I am less confident in this bootlist prediction than I’ve been with any of my other recent season predictions!

Julia I know I just did a whole post about archetypes to look for when predicting who will make it far in the competition, but like Bentley said, this cast doesn't seem to have as many as usual, at least not as many obvious ones. I don't have time to touch on everyone but there are a few things I wanted to mention:

- Either Nikki and/or Sasha will probably be shock eliminations, since I don't see the show's main demo connecting with them as much. However, Sasha MIGHT get pimped to fourth. I almost had her there but I think the team most likely to get that treatment is...

- Vanessa & Maks will probably be pimped. Actually, both Lachey couples probably will be, but I think they might be gunning to have Maks in the Finals this season so I see them being pimped more.

- I have a feeling Victoria and Derek will be "The All-Arounder" and "The Everyperson" but I'm not sure who will fill which role.

- Debbie will be this season's "6th place nostalgic lady" we seem to get more often than not.

- Lindsey & Mark will be robbed right before the Finals.
